Exciting opportunity for a Flood Risk Specialist to join a successful multi-disciplinary consultancy in the South West.

The successful candidate for this post will be expected to perform as a technical specialist in an expanding office.

The successful candidate for this post will be required to undertake and oversee land drainage, SUDS, storm water management, s104 and the use of Microdrainage and work related to flooding strategy and Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA).

We are particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate broad experience in flood modelling.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should:
- Have an MSc or MEng in Flood Risk Management, Environmental Engineering or another relevant Geo-science.
- Be chartered or working towards chartered status (CIWEM, ICE)
- Have strong and broad technical background with experience in a relevant position.

We will be looking for candidates who can demonstrate knowledge or expertise in a number of the following areas:

- Hydrology and flood hydrology
- Flood and coastal risk management scheme assessment and appraisal
- Surface water management
- Flood risk assessment
