If you're a chartered engineer with proven experience of working on HSE registered construction projects, this is a brilliant opportunity not to be missed. Focused on creating the most efficient and sustainable solutions, our client has expanded significantly over the past decade.
In this challenging, visible and important position, you'll have the chance to play a vital role in their next aim: the creation of a brand new facility in Buckinghamshire.
As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of a large scale anaerobic digestion facility for our client.
Managing all aspects of this £20m project, you'll co-ordinate all civil, mechanical and electrical contractors to ensure that budgets and timescales are met. You'll oversee the gas-to-grid equipment, gas engines and the waste intake building, as well as managing relationships between the customer and contractors. Establishing safe site working principles, you'll ensure that construction regulations are adhered to and regular reports are produced on the progress of the project.
Upon completion of phase one of this project, you'll project manage phase two, which is valued approximately at £15m. Interested? To be considered for this role, you must: - Be a chartered engineer - Have experience of HSE registered construction projects, ideally involving pipe works, tanks, silos and embedded energy systems - Have a proven track record of complex contract management across multi-disciplinary contractors
As the Project Manager, you must be highly motivated and organised with excellent leadership and communication skills. A great eye for detail, a persistent approach and strong negotiation abilities are also key. A PRINCE2 qualification would be beneficial to your application, but is by no means essential.
A consultant will be in contact should your application be taken further. If you have not heard back from us within two weeks then unfortunately you have been unsuccessful in your application.
