Our client is a global renewable energy business.

They are active in all phases of the project life cycle: feasibility, design, contract negotiations, due diligence, construction and asset management.

They are currently seeking a wind / offshore wind specialist to contribute to the expansion of their Advisory Services business, where they serve developers, project owners, banks and investors. Typical experience would be in project due diligence, resource analysis, input to technical asset management/operations, construction monitoring.

The Senior/Project Manager will have several years' experience with onshore wind and offshore wind projects with three key areas of responsibilities: business development proposals, project work & construction monitoring.

Key responsibilities:

Business Development:

  • Preparing proposals for clients for wind/offshore wind projects such as Due Diligence, Resource Assessment & Construction Monitoring
  • Good familiarity with the international wind industry, a wealth of client contacts, ability to plan and a will and openness to sell services

Project work:

  • Undertake project work, liaise with clients
  • Good experience in undertaking wind & offshore wind technical and commercial project work
  • Project management
  • Ability to form and lead project teams, dispatch and manage work streams and projects on time and budget
  • Undertake profitable project work, achieve KPIs

Construction work:

  • Monitor construction of wind and/or offshore wind farms
  • Experience of the construction monitoring of wind and/or offshore wind farms, on behalf of lenders or investors

The Candidate

Your profile:


  • Strong track record in onshore wind / offshore wind due diligence and relevant related aspects
  • Experience of wind energy yield analysis
  • Sound professional network in the renewables industry in key markets
  • Drive and will to succeed
  • Ability to promote the company and win new business
  • Relevant Degree level qualification
  • At least 3 years relevant work experience in wind energy, 5 years professional experience
  • Commercial awareness and eloquence, experience in proposal generation
  • Excellent communication, report writing and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills, ideally from a consulting environment
  • Excellent team-working ability
  • Willingness to work cross-discipline (wind, offshore wind, solar)
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Organised thorough and diligent
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Rights to live and work in the UK, EU


  • Relevant Master's Degree level qualification
  • Wind turbine engineering knowledge
  • Experience of wind turbine inspections
  • Wind turbine climbing experience
  • Experience in the solar industry, ideally consulting environment
  • Fluency in one or more other European languages would be advantageous
