Our client is an independent engineering consultancy specialising in technical advisory for the renewable energy market.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Asset Manager to manage their expanding portfolio of operational Solar PV assets.


  • Manage the operations and Maintenance program of the existing and expanding portfolio
  • Monitor and Optimise PV Performance
  • Write up Weekly, Monthly and other contracted reports to show Performance and other KPI's
  • Undertake Site Visits; provide advice on portfolios in terms of H&S Compliance
  • Provide Support and Mentorship to other members of the business
  • Organise Training sessions for the team when required
  • Undertake reviews of reports, data analysis and documentation



  • Have a background in either engineering / electrical / renewables, or have had previous exposure to Solar PV
  • Have good verbal and written communication skills, coupled with a good phone manner and a customer facing attitude
  • Be competent in the Office package and particularly Excel, including but not limited to use of Pivot Tables and Data Analysis tools
  • Speak fluently at least another European language
  • Methodical and accurate, taking pride in the quality of their work but also delivering it on time
  • Have excellent quantitative skills
  • Be able to remain calm under pressure
  • Be a good team player and supportive to the other team members
  • Be happy to work in a team environment


  • Graduated in electrical engineering or with electrical background
  • 1 year experience in Solar PV or Renewable Energies, particularly valued will be experience in Asset
  • Management or previous experience with Solar Monitoring systems
  • Previous exposure to a Customer Service / Technical Support / Technical Service / Site Management role
  • Knowledge of one or more of the following software packages: Access, VBA, SQL, Microsoft Dynamics
  • Familiar in maintaining and using Databases, Customer Service portals or CRM platforms
