Our client is a leading global design & consultancy firm for natural and built assets. They are seeking to appoint a Senior Digital Executive to join the UK Marketing and Communication team, based in London.
 
There are 2 key elements to this position; engaging B2B audience to solidify presence within the industry and, increase digital footprint. The UK Marketing & Communications team consists of 12 people with a focus on building brand profile in the market, delivering revenue, generating marketing campaigns for the UK business and ensuring engagement with employees through internal communications. The team operates in conjunction with the global marketing function to promote our wider brand, capability and utilise global marketing campaigns in the UK market.
 
Purpose of the role:

As a Senior Digital Executive, you will support the Senior Corporate Communications Manager in managing the overall strategic direction of the company digital and social media strategy. You’ll help to ensure the brand is visible to clients, prospects and influencers, updating corporate website with the latest market relevant content and thought leadership.

 

You will also work to increase our digital footprint, particularly within social media, with a focus on B2B audience engagement.

 
Key duties:
Stakeholder Management
  • Regularly coach stakeholders and spokespeople in social media, ensuring participation in projects and making sure they are fully briefed as to activity and expectations
  • Assist the wider marketing team in developing campaigns to take to market

Digital & Social Media
  • Manage outputs of digital and social media by producing innovative, client-appropriate content that delivers increasing levels of engagement across key client audiences
  • Improve the visibility of the company online brand in the UK in line with clear deliverable and measures

Reporting
  • Manage the reporting process back into the client development group on digital engagement progress
Key activities/Accountabilities:
  • Training sector and service leaders in the business to position themselves in front of target clients via social media.
  • Communicating company thought leadership, corporate messages and monitoring the news agenda through the UK social media platforms.
  • Monitoring audience and engagement levels with company digital channels and reporting progress back in line with strategy.
  • Managing content overhaul process of all web content to ensure the UK site is best positioned to our markets.
  • To coach key senior leaders in social media and how to position themselves in front of clients and prospects.
  • Creating regular reports on web and social media engagement and feeding back into client development teams.
  • To act as the main point of contact for anybody within the business on matters related to the website and social media.
  • To ensure company responds quickly and effectively to external events and issues that impact our clients.
  • To lead regular content refreshes of the website to ensure it is relevant to our clients and their markets.
  • To research digital trends and implement these, where relevant, into company strategy to ensure the firm’s digital presence is up to date.
  • To maintain and enforce brand guidelines across all channels and those of our employees.
  • Day to day management of CRM system.
  • To support the Senior Corporate Communications Manager in managing the overall strategic direction of UK digital and social media strategy.
  • To coach key senior leaders in social media and how to position themselves in front of clients and prospects.
  • Creating regular reports on web and social media engagement and feeding back into client development teams.
  • To lead regular content refreshes of the website to ensure it is relevant to our clients and their markets.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience working with website Content Management Systems.
  • Working knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) Eloqua.
  • Experience working with B2B social media platforms – Twitter, LinkedIn – and associated social media management platforms.
  • Knowledge of new social media channels.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good project management skills.
  • Able to prioritise workload, work well under pressure and deliver high quality output that meets tight deadlines.
  • Able to liaise with marketing colleagues and other internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence and coach digital communications capabilities in others.
  • Personal skills - professional, reliable, self-motivated, flexible, highly organised, personable, enthusiastic, punctual and with a positive attitude to work. 
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products Professional services and/ or experience in key industry sectors such as property/ infrastructure/ water/ environment an advantage.
  • Education: quality degree level qualification or equivalent.
