Our client is the biggest offshore wind farm developer in the UK. They are looking to appoint a Web Editor to join their communications team, based in London.

The role will report into the Senior Communications Manager. You will be a key member of the team, responsible for UK on-line channels. You will be leading on-line communications and ensuring web activity, by producing communications materials and helping these channels reach a wide range of audiences to further raise the company public profile.

Typical duties will include:
  • Editing and maintaining all company external websites
  • Supporting traditional communications activities through digital channels
  • Working with Group Communications in Denmark to keep the UK website aligned with the overall brand and drive increased traffic
  • Developing new and creative content for use on online channels to reach new audiences
  • Investigating use of viable new digital platforms to enhance UK communications activity
  • Leading the successful integration of separate project websites into the overall company website
  • Building close cooperation with project development teams to support digital needs of UK projects
Ideal Candidate:
  • Experience of editing and maintaining corporate websites 
  • Experience of using Microsoft SharePoint 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with a keen eye for detail 
  • An aptitude for planning and prioritising work, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to translate technical analysis and detail into plain English
  • Ability to work independently and confidently
  • Comfortable tailoring communications materials for delivery through online and social media channels
  • Willingness to travel independently to other sites as required
  • knowledge of coding and experience of wordpress is desirable
In return:
Competitive basic salary £25,000 - £33,000pa (DOE) + company benefits.
