Job Details
The role will be permanently based in the Armenian capital working with internal and external stakeholders as well as significant time on site imbedding best practice and dealing with operational implementation. Please note this is not a FIFO role.
The individual will develop a wide spectrum of sustainability systems to include environment, community and social matters. It is essential that candidates have experience working on mine sites as this role covers both the corporate strategic and policy elements as well as regulatory and operational aspects requiring a deep understanding of mining operations.
Candidates are expected to have:
A mining, engineering, environment or minerals related degree ahead of relevant professional experience in sustainability.
Knowledge of international IFC standards is expected.
Demonstrable experience of achieving operational performance
Further experience needed includes well developed stakeholder communication skills and experience working with regulators, industry and governmental organisations.
Business is conducted primarily in English where excellent English language skills are essential, additional language capabilities would be beneficial, especially Russian.
