Allen & York Congratulate the 'Best Consultancy to Work For'

Allen & York congratulate leading consultancy firm Arup on their award as “Best Consultancy to Work For” at a prestigious ceremony on 13th November.
Leading global recruitment company, Allen & York are specialists serving the Environmental sector covering the Natural and Built Environment, Waste, Energy, Environmental Engineering and Health & Safety.
For the second year running, edie have held Awards for Environmental Excellence at the Natural History Museum in London, to recognise those who focus on making practical improvements to the environment and the way business is carried out.
Allen & York were again this year one of the main sponsors, sponsoring the award for Best Consultancy to Work For 2008.
Arup – a global firm of designers, engineers, planners and business consultants – came first in this category, taking away the hand-crafted award which had been created purely from recycled materials in accordance with what the ethos of the awards. ERM and Atkins followed in 2nd and 3rd place.
Louise Stroud, who began her Arup career in 2000 after assistance from Allen & York, accepted the award on their behalf and explained why they are the Best Consultancy to Work For, “It’s a flexible company, they support work-life balance, they embrace sustainability and they look after their people – I think that’s why we won.”
