Allen & York is a leading global sustainability recruitment consultancy specialising across the Environment, Energy, Built Environment, Health & Safety, Waste & Engineering sectors. Established for over 15 years and based on the south coast in the UK, our success globally stems from the UK to Europe; The Middle East & in the Asia Pacific & China regions. This success has led us to open offices in locations outside of the UK. We are now seeking a Regional (Country) Manager to lead the operation in the UAE.

The Role

The overall purpose of the role is to plan, direct and co-ordinate the business activities in the Middle East region across the full range of our specialist sectors. The Regional Manager will develop, secure and service the recruitment business to meet and exceed financial targets. They will be responsible for the smooth running of the office premises ensuring a solid base allowing for growth of the overseas operation. 

Requirements

1) Graduate or of graduate calibre with a strong "green" interest
2) Familiarity with the Company sectors/markets and the region
3) Demonstrated practical sales/recruitment experience with additional management responsibility
4) Analytical, conceptual, strategic and planning abilities
5) Convincing personality, natural authority
6) A self-assured leader with excellent communication skills
7) Performance and bottom line orientation
8) Ethical & honest
