In January this year Veolia launched their Recycling Fund for Communities, offering £50,000 to support grassroots projects that inspire people to think differently about waste and resources.

Since the launch Veolia have helped to fund 14 new projects including;  a new wildlife garden at John Ruskin Primary School in Southwark, a multi-purpose community cafe and vegetable garden at Tottenham's Cafe Connect, and a £40K project at the Elephant and Castle, called the Elephant Regeneration area, which offers a community centre, artist space and tranquil green spaces for the local residents to enjoy.

Veolia have now relaunched their fund and applications are open until 28 February 2018.
