Here’s a round-up of recent global sustainability job appointments

BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has appointed Jane Ambachtsheer as Global Head of Sustainability, effective 27 August 2018. Based in Paris, Jane will report to Frédéric Janbon, CEO and Head of Investments and will lead on sustainability-related research, Environmental Social & Governance (ESG) engagement, advocacy and governance. She will also manage BNPP AM’s overall corporate social responsibility.

CPL Aromas has appointed its first Head of Sustainability, Emily Heron.  Heron has worked with CPL Aromas for 6 years and is based at the company’s European manufacturing facility in Brixworth, Northamptonshire. Previously, she managed the QSHE department and has been responsible for building and coordinating environmental awareness throughout the company, playing a significant role in attaining ISO 1400:2015 certification for the Brixworth and Dubai production sites.

Anthesis Group sustainability consultancy strengthens its senior team with the appointment of Kirsten Doddy as Global Head of Marketing & Communications and Mark Hawker as Chief Engineer.  Kirsten has more than 17 years’ experience of marketing and communications, previously holding senior roles within Sainsbury’s Corporate Affairs and media agency Dentsu Aegis Network as Global Head of Corporate Communications Mark has worked as Head of Engineering for some of Europe's largest companies including Sainsbury's, Tesco, Carlsberg and Diageo, developing award-winning projects across all aspects of renewable energy, storage and energy efficiency.

Swedish retailer Coop has appointed Charlotte Szczepanowski as the head of its newly formed sustainability and quality unit. Charlotte joins Coop from Swedish housing company Riksbyggen, where she worked for nine years and was most recently the Head of Sustainable Development. Previously, she worked with Electrolux and Posten in a similar position. She will start her new position on 1 October, 2018.
