ALLEN & YORK successfully recruit Global Head of Health & Safety for HEINEKEN

Having successfully recruited the Global Head of Health & Safety for HEINEKEN, ALLEN & YORK were delighted to be asked to work with their HR team again, to recruit a Safety Manager for their EMEA operation.  

A strategic and challenging opportunity, based in the Netherlands with extensive travel across the Middle East and Africa; our Health & Safety Recruitment team were required to source high calibre candidates with strong international and sector experience.  People management and technical understanding across international warehousing and logistics was also crucial.

ALLEN & YORK excel in partnering companies to support their long term recruitment strategies and our Senior Health & Safety Consultant worked closely with HEINEKEN’S Group Head of Health & Safety to ensure we found candidates with a perfect technical as well as cultural fit for the business.   


Our Health & Safety team are very well networked, having been in operation for over 20 years and were therefore able to submit a well researched shortlist of candidates quickly.   Interviews, travel arrangements and subsequent negotiations were all handled by our consultants as standard, leaving HEINENKEN to make clear decisions on the suitability of each candidate.

A stand out candidate was indentified and both A&Y and HEINEKEN are delighted that he will in post by 1 October 2014.
