London Waste Ltd is wholly owned by the North London Waste Authority (NLWA) and is contracted to provide waste management services to it’s seven North London boroughs.
Their flagship site is a forty-acre EcoPark in Edmonton, which includes recycling, composting, waste transfer and energy centres.
London Waste provide a safe and secure alternative to landfill disposal; manage Reuse and Recycling Centres (RRCs) for household materials and recover enough energy from waste, to power 72,000 homes throughout the year.
ALLEN & YORK’s Waste Recruitment team specialise in sourcing high calibre talent across; waste management, sales, planning and engineering within; recycling, AD & Biogas, Energy from Waste (EfW) and other related waste sectors.
The requirement to hire an Operations Controller was an urgent and key recruit for London Waste, and they were looking for a fast turn-around.
