As specialists in the Sustainability sector ALLEN & YORK are proud to be working in partnership with the renowned Carbon Trust. Few organisations are as recognised or as influential in the global movement to a low carbon economy.

The Carbon Trust has a stated mission to accelerate the move to a sustainable, low carbon economy. Established in the UK in 2001 as a collaboration between government and business, it has since expanded to operate globally from offices bases including London, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Beijing, Pretoria, Mexico City and Singapore.

The Carbon Trust helps reduce carbon emissions and increase resource efficiency through providing specialist help, support and advice. It has operations and projects across the globe, supporting companies and organisations wherever help is needed.

An important new position has arisen for an Agricultural Footprinting Expert to join their Business Services Team. Managing anywhere up to ten projects at the same time, your strong and proven project management skills will be called into use, together with your client facing and communication skills. You'll provide consultancy advice to both UK and international organisations (mainly corporate businesses) helping them benefit from the low carbon economy and you'll provide expertise in climate-smart agriculture, global food security, supply chain management and food and diet sustainability. Your ability to identify new business opportunities within corporates is required, using your initiative and ability to influence decision makers.

With a strong analytical and commercial acumen, the quality of your work will be at the highest standard, in line with your peers and you'll liaise regularly with clients to ensure expectations are met. You will often be leading on a range of projects including footprint based impact analysis, scenario analysis, business and financial analysis and certification projects of third party calculations. As such, you will have an in-depth knowledge of data analysis, Excel and experience of LCA carbon footprinting in line with sound agricultural expertise. Previous corporate sector experience would also be advantageous, as would additional post graduate qualifications.

Based in a central London location close to transport links out of the city, this is an excellent opportunity for you to be at the forefront of the knowledge management for the agricultural sector and work alongside some of the leading practitioners in the low carbon arena.
