Emissions & Strategy Manager

Are you an experienced Air, Emissions, Strategy planning professional looking to influence air pollution within the UK?

Would you like an opportunity to support the delivery of one of the largest airports in the UK in regards to their Air, Emissions and sustainability strategy.

There will be a specific focus on emissions-related activities and their plan for sustainable growth. It represents a step change within their business and captures the momentum of their shift towards a sustainable future within aviation.

Sustainability is at the core of their business strategy and the role will provide support for delivery on their emissions strategy and action plan related to global climate change and local air pollution.

Role responsibilities:

You will be working with their business to translate their plan into action, providing analytical and data management support to track and identify key trends in activities that generate emissions, and providing robust evidence on to support for growth. You will also be expected to support specific projects relating to the wider sustainability agenda with a particular focus on noise.

It is ideally suited to a candidate with previous experience of environmental management, Air, Emissions and strategy. You will ideally be looking to gain in-depth experience in strategy, sustainability and expand your knowledge of the aviation sector.

You will be working on building an emissions strategy and action plan, working with the business on risks, opportunities and maintaining a comprehensive strategy to improve performance

You will support delivery of targets, plans and management processes to turn the emissions strategy into operational delivery working with their business units and functions throughout their company to ensure contribution.

Identify and support significant change projects to improve emissions performance, including generating robust evidence to support the business case for investment on emissions where required.

You will have experience of engagement on emissions issues with external stakeholders in order to understand external perspectives and take those into account in the company's strategy development, and build trust.
