This is your chance to join one of the UK's largest and most diverse landscape practices, as an Associate Director Landscape Architect you will take a lead on developing, building and leading a team in England's second city with multiple opportunities to work with high profile clients on nationally significant projects.

Ideally you will have a Landscape Institute Accredited Bachelor's degree, Diploma and / or Masters degree, and be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute, this foundation with allow you to demonstrate how technically competent in preparing landscape and/or townscape and visual impact assessments and appraisals LVIA / TVIA and evidence-base documents to support development plans and policies you are. While also being able to produce drawings using the Autodesk Suite of software, with the necessary level of detail as required for projects at various stages of development: feasibility and optioneering studies, conceptual design, detailed design and construction. Any knowledge of the use of BIM will be beneficial.

In order to be successful as Associate Director Landscape Architect based in Birmingham, you will be able to demonstrate experience of working in a multi-disciplinary environment and have a clear understanding of and experience across a wide range of sectors. You will draw on your demonstrable experience in business development and work winning to bring project opportunities, from landscape planning through to design and implementation, into the team through both the external and internal markets.

You will draw on your vast experience gained from working for local authority and private sector clients across a range of sectors, to develop the client base and expand the opportunities across a variety of market sectors.

Using your post Chartership experience, and thorough knowledge and understanding of the UK legal and planning system with respect to landscape architecture as well as an understanding of project management, including financial control and reporting and programme management and ability to manage your own budgets, you will undertake the management of projects, including contractual, financial and programme management.

Your ambitious, self-motivated can-do attitude and strong development skills will allow you to lead in the development of innovative, cost effective and buildable solutions in an environment that is collaborative, stimulating and demanding. While undertaking line management tasks and mentoring of graduates on their pathways to chartership.
