Due to an increase in business and a drive to expand further within London and the home counties our client are looking for an experienced Employers Agent / Surveyor to join their busy team. This is an involved role where you will work in collaboration on a range of new build / mixed use regeneration projects, with an impressive portfolio of work scheduled for 2021/2022.
As an Employers Agent you will be involved in projects from start to finish, from client briefing to establishing the delivery team, tenders to negotiating frameworks and reviewing throughout. You should have a good knowledge of the impending Building Safety Bill and take responsibility for chairing meetings and ensuring delivery against JCT D&B or bespoke agreements.
With the scale of each project differing from £2m-£100m+ it is essential to have prior experience and a thorough understanding of delivery standards within the housing sector and demonstrate the ability to record actions and identify risks.
Skills & Qualifications
- University degree or similar in Project Management, building surveying or a similar construction subject.
- At least 3 years post qualification experience as an Employers Agent with a Building Surveying / PM background.
- RICS qualified
- Proven experience within residential developments.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with the natural ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with clients and colleagues.
- Full UK drivers licence.
