Do you want to work in a Planning team for a multidisciplinary consulting group with over 25 years of history?

With at least 5 to 10 years' experience across the public and private sector and as an RTPI Member and qualified Town Planner, you will have the ability to prepare clear and concise reports and be able to convey complex planning issues in a succinct way. You should also be IT literate with good skills in word processing, database management and spreadsheets; with a particular emphasis on statistical analysis.
You will also be able to manage competing demands on your time and to prioritise tasks accordingly; experience or a good understanding in project management would be beneficial.
You are going to be working within The Strategic Planning Research Unit, this is a specialist team within the Group and provides clients with support and assistance in the following areas:
- Housing demand and need including Strategic Housing Market Assessments
- Housing Supply including 5 year housing land supply assessments
- Employment land demand and supply
- Retail assessments and retail impact statements
- Sustainability Appraisal
- Public Sector commissions
- Attendance at Local Plan Hearings
- Expert Witness at Planning Inquiries
- Bespoke research commissions
In this role, you will work closely with the Directors of the Strategic Planning Research Unit on a range of strategic and smaller specialist projects.
You will, whilst working in a team environment have the determination and ability to work also on your own initiative
