Key Customer Manager
Are you an experienced business development professional, with knowledge of management certification and solutions, looking for a great new role where you can demonstrate your strategic approach to sales?
We're looking for a Key Customer Development Manager with experience of building and developing relationships with high profile clients (blue chip/FTSE 100) who can continue to grow this leading independent certification company. With the gravitas to engage with high level stakeholders to win new business, you'll also manage a portfolio of key customers and negotiate commercials across your portfolio.

The role
You'll be able to demonstrate how you've maintained - and grown - strong sales pipelines across our client's markets. You'll be proactive and tenacious, following up on marketing leads and providing quotes and proposals to close the deal. As a committed sales professional, you'll be used to ensuring the pipeline and CRM are up-to-date and be pro-active in your activities to acquire new prospects and convert calls into sales.
With excellent communication skills, and commercial acumen, you'll be able to manage key relationships with ease to ensure client retention and development. With experience of managing tender processes and pitches, you'll be used to engaging with internal stakeholders to ensure the best proposals reach the client prospects.
Requirements
The Key Customer Development Manager needs to be outgoing, pro-active and possess a real desire to achieve their goals. With customer service experience a pre-requisite, the ability to work as part of team and communicate with a wide range of people will help you succeed in this role.
A technical sales background, ideally from working within a Consultancy, Health & Safety/ Environment or Compliance business is essential for the role, as is being results and solutions oriented.
