Job description
Allen & York are delighted to be working with a super team of consultants as they look to recruit a Carbon and Net Zero Manager to join their Team and work on a variety of projects with a range of clients.
Utilising your 2-4 years' experience working in either a consultancy or in house setting, you will have a strong knowledge of sustainability issues, be competent and confident liaising and presenting to clients, working as part of a Team to develop the service offering and managing and delivering a number of projects, based predominantly around carbon and net zero. Your environmental degree will lend itself nicely, as will your analytical skills and ability to think outside the box.
You'll be tasked with calculating the carbon footprint and suggesting ways to reduce emissions, developing strategies for reducing targets, setting science-based targets and suggesting recommendations. In addition, you'll be responsible for identifying new opportunities so any experience of having done this before would be beneficial. If you would like to manage one or two more junior team members, this is a possibility and you'll get involved in setting the strategy of the business through keeping abreast of new developments and trends.
Due to the nature of the business, this is no ordinary consultancy role. My client offers a really good work life balance, they work with predominantly UK clients, in a small team with a great client base. You'll be given the autonomy to engage with clients and develop the offering and the chance to be innovative and put your entrepreneurial flair to practice.
Based in their unique South London offices (you'll understand when you see them!) you'll be able to work on a hybrid model, with 2-3 days in the office and the remainder from home, offering you the flexibility you're looking for. So, if you'd like to work with a super friendly bunch of people on projects which have been carefully selected, please submit your CV to kpereira@allen-york.com.
