Circular Economy Lead, Principal Consultant
Flexible on UK location, if home based to include visits to the Bristol office.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of likeminded individuals as a Circular Economy Lead, Principal Consultant. The role sits within the Circular Economy team and will also support various UK Policy projects as required. As a Circular Economy specialist you will join the consultancy team, working with public, private and third sector clients leading the Circular Economy workstream, as a recognised expert in the field with proven experience and excellent commercial focus you will lead on developing consultancy products and services in circular economy.
As a valuable member of the team, you will have experience of consultancy to the circular economy sector, You will engage with external and internal stakeholders working across Resource Futures' whole client base. In the role of Principal Consultant, you will have a track record of providing technical business support around circular business models; systems thinking; processing and markets; packaging; carbon impacts. Ideally you will have a good understanding of the impact of current and future policy. This experience will allow you to utilise modelling; data analysis and interpretation; market research to act as a recognised expert in the field of sustainable resource and waste management and lead on developing consultancy products and services.
The Successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to present complex information and ideas to a range of audiences utilising your experience of working within sustainable procurement, carbon, textiles, plastic and food. With a strong knowledge of networks relating to circular economy, be educated to degree level in a relevant field with further degree or professional membership of a relevant institute e.g. RSA, CIWM or IEMA. Experience of managing and taking responsibility for delivering successful projects of different sizes, experience of preparing/writing bids, strong networking capability and a well-developed network of contacts, excellent written and oral communication skills, energy and enthusiasm, and a creative approach to problem solving.
This is a permanent contract for 37.5 hours per week, with the salary ranging between £40,000 - £55,000* DOE with five weeks holiday per year, plus Bank Holidays. The client is flexible on location, although occasional travel to the Bristol office will be required as you will be working closely with this team.
*although a salary range of £40,000-£55,000 has been set for this role we would welcome applications from all levels of experience and salary ranges as there is the potential for flexibility at the top end of this range for the right candidate.
