Allen & York is pleased to be working again with a growing company as they now look to secure a Communications & Engagement Manager to join the Team to help strengthen and accelerate nature-based finance in the UK.
Working with a network of over 3,000 professionals (and rising!) you'll use your communications and engagement expertise to ensure they're up to date with news, events, online resources and access to learning opportunities.
You'll be responsible for producing an actionable Communications Plan (including work on nature-based finance), raising the visibility of the Network among defined groups of professionals, taking ownership for the management of the content and working with the Team to implement the Comms Plan. Given the nature of the business, if you do have experience of nature-based finance or the broader environmental sector, that would be preferable as you'll be able to hit the ground running when it comes to understanding technical vocabulary.
To achieve this, you'll be able to demonstrate where you've designed and implemented a Comms Plans for a public facing organisation ideally, you'll have experience of having managed social media and website content, managing social media accounts for professional audiences specifically and working with comms agencies. It goes without saying that you'll have a keen eye for detail, excellent English writing skills (short and long form) and formidable organisation skills combined with the ability to work independently and to deadlines.
This role would ideally suit someone who has a contract running for c.2 days a week as they're looking for someone to commit to 3 days a week if possible and you'll be willing to travel occasionally to attend face to face meetings in the UK (overnight accommodation would be provided).
Based in Oxfordshire, south of Oxford, it would be great if you can access the office from time to time, however remote working opportunities are available for the right person.
So, if you would like to work with a dedicated team of professionals in an award winning forum and help to promote and intensify interest in the stewardship of our natural environment, call Katie on 01202 888986 ext 207.
