Our client is one of the early pioneers in renewable energy and is growing rapidly. They need you to supporting the Asset Management and Operations departments informing on the condition of the operating plant.
You will be a specialist, involved in analysing operational data, principally vibration data, often in conjunction with SCADA and oil data to provide the best diagnosis and prognosis, enabling highest revenue and profit for clients and the company whilst managing risk.
You will have an in depth understanding of typical drivetrain failure modes and troubleshooting procedures, root cause analysis (RCA) & FMEA and how failures manifest in condition monitoring data.
Using your degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, physics or maths and 12-18 months' experience in condition monitoring and vibration analysis. You will collaboratively develop diagnosis algorithms and methods to detect different failure modes and provide technical and engineering support to operational wind farm management teams.
The ideal candidate will be naturally investigative, inquisitive, proactive, solution focused and have a sense of ownership of their work. Detailed knowledge of wind turbine design and reliability
