On behalf of our client we are currently looking to recruit for a Data/ Business Analyst, preferable with experience monitoring and maintaining instrument/ equipment data within a scientific/ laboratory environment.
This role is offered as a permanent opportunity and will be based in the Hertfordshire area.
Role Summary:
- Supports audits of all elements related to laboratory instrument support on the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Supports the change management process within CMMS and participates in any upgrades/conversions as needed
- Ensures data integrity and security is consistent with the client's corporate policies
- Works closely with the Senior Business Analyst to identify opportunities
- Designs, develops, and publishes reports and supports business tools
- Consults with Senior Business Analyst in determining specific output requirement, including degree of data summarisation and formatting for management reports
- Manages Asset Data integrity and accuracy in the CMMS
- Liaises with client to provide support with Scientific Equipment Lifecycle Management
- Develops asset improvement project reports
- Maintains an effective lifecycle, utilising various techniques to develop progress reports and effective measures
- Follow asset lifecycle processes to ensure assets are managed to a good standard
- Performs all duties in a safe manner
- Performs other job-related duties as requested
Experience Required:
- HNC/HND in Business or Computer Science
- Strong related experience in Computer Technology
- Sound CMMS experience
- Prior experience/knowledge of asset maintenance lifecycle (preferably of scientific equipment)
- PC Literate - MS Suite
- Good understanding of SQL
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
- Ability to deliver work within deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Able to travel
