We are engaged with an award winning FinTech startup company based in London. The business offers flexible credit to SMEs across the UK and Europe using a bespoke technology platform and providing businesses the opportunity which previously may not have been available to them.
The role of Debt Recovery Executive is predominantly to handle and engage with client accounts in early arrears confidentially with great care and sustaining the highest level of customer service. The position sits within the Collections team however you will be working with a number of other teams across the business as well as senior management to understand, accomplish and report on the best course of action. It is vital that within this role you are able to build rapport and relationships within the designated portfolio of clients. This should be achieved via regular contact to understand and resolve breaches of contract as well as negotiating and implementing feasible repayment solutions that take into account the clients circumstances as well as taking into consideration the best interests of the business.
Furthermore, you will be working closely with third part debt collection agencies and solicitors, ensuring compliance and appropriate legislation is adhered to. You will need to uphold company reputation at all times and also adhere to internal company policy and procedure.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Level of experience can vary, happy to consider candidates from 1-5 years experience within a commercial environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Professional and personable.
- Ability to deal effectively in challenging environments.
- Commercial acumen - experience of the Finance Services sector is an advantage.
