Allen & York are pleased to be working with an exciting creative comms agency who are now looking to recruit a Sustainability Director to join their business and work closely with their Sustainability Communications Director.
Based in their London offices but with the opportunity to work in a hybrid model, you will be a seasoned sustainability professional who's up to date with changes in sustainability and ESG legislation and have strong proven experience of delivering and implementing sustainability projects to their clients, more so than pitching for work. In addition, you'll be up to date and have experience of sustainability reporting frameworks including GRI, TCFD, DJSI and the SDG's.
You will work with blue chip clients to implement large sustainability communications and/or reporting programmes so prior experience of doing this is required. You will have excellent presentation and writing skills and be able to inspire and influence people. In addition, your strong commercial acumen and prior experience of implementing sustainability comms campaigns, either inhouse or in an agency or consultancy environment will be called upon.
You will lead the strategic development of the sustainability comms work so the broader your experience across sectors and geographies, the better and whilst your comms skills will be excellent, it is the sustainability knowledge and delivery that's more important.
