Responsibilities
The successful applicant, amongst other responsibilities, will:
- take a key role in leading on strategic objectives and will be responsible for managing change and ensuring engagement with new processes and procedures
- develop and achieve business plan targets, adding value and profit to the group; managing overhead budgets and monthly fee forecasts
- responsible for implementation of business processes; compliance with company procedures and business guidelines
- act as project director, where required and be responsible for successful project delivery as well as preparing and reviewing commercial proposals and managing a pipeline of work
- proactively manage opportunities and leads alongside the business development director
- coach and mentor individuals within the advisory group and undertake overall responsibility for HR staff issues and resourcing
You will hold a relevant professional Chartership and degree level qualification in a related subject. You will have experience within the public and private sector working in relation to flood resilience, environmental management and planning & development. Additionally you will have:
- strong market and industry knowledge
- experience working as part of a management team
- experience managing a profit and loss
- experience with joint ventures / major partnering agreements and suppliers
