As the sole environmental professional in the Team, your experience of ensuring compliance with legislation will be essential, as will your experience of designing, implementing and maintaining Environmental Management Systems in accordance with ISO14001, conducting internal audits and applying for permits, licences and consents.
In addition to this, your experience of CSR and ESG is also required and you'll be able to use your community engagement skills, as well as taking responsibility for the charitable foundation.
Are you good at listening, informing and educating? Perfect, as your ability to remain calm under pressure and ability to appreciate two sides of the story will be essential.
If you're not one to be sat at a desk all day, this role will suit you down to the ground as you'll be out and about on site, in meetings and in the office for a time.
Do you enjoy working with others? Fantastic, as you will be liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders to drive forward best practice and communicate the work you're doing to the public.
Your ability to multitask will definitely be required as you'll be working on multiple projects at any one time, driving forward the environmental strategy advising other parts of the business and you'll be the face of the business at relevant Technical Meetings and events.
Are you based on the South Coast or within commuting distance of the Solent? Easily accessible by road and rail, the role may be suitable for those slightly further away.
