Our client is recruiting a newly created opportunity for an Environment and Sustainability Advisor to advise, input and co-ordinate the bids and tendering on infrastructure projects across the UK. The role is on an initial Fixed Term Contract with a view to going permanent.
The role will be to develop the environmental, sustainable and social elements to the tendering process through creative and innovative storytelling which highlights and enthuses the social and environmental aspects within the bid. In addition, the role will develop channels of communication within the business to drive excellence.
This position is a proactive role which will reach out within the business to educate and engage with key individuals as well as proactively participating in bid meetings and engaging with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
Candidates should be qualified to degree level in an environmental or related discipline with membership of a professional body such as IEMA. You should have excellent written skills, be able to demonstrate imagination and creativity in your writing skills and have a demonstrable track record in social and sustainability within the infrastructure or similar industry.
