My client - a natural resource management/energy company - is looking for an Environmental Planner to join their small but growing Team and work on a range of different projects.
To be considered for the role, the following skills and experience are required:
- a first degree in either an environmental discipline or town planning
- you will be either working towards membership of either IEMA or the RTPI
- experience of coordinating and carrying out EIA's and writing Environmental Statements
- experience of the UK planning system and the permitting regulations
- experience of the consenting regimes under the Town & Country Planning Act
- experience working in the oil and gas sector would be a distinct advantage
- you will have strong time management and organisational skills as you will be managing a number of projects at one time
- strong project management skills, and experience working with a range of different people at varying stages
- you will be a problem solver, with the ability to look at the issues and come up with solutions
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
