An important new position has arisen for a European Business Development Manager - DACH Region which offers commercial business development professionals a chance to join this prestigious organisation in a role which offers significant opportunity.
The Carbon Trust has a stated mission to accelerate the move to a sustainable, low carbon economy. Established in the UK in 2001 as a collaboration between government and business it has since expanded to operate globally from offices bases including London, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Beijing, Pretoria, Mexico City and Singapore.
The Carbon Trust helps reduce carbon emissions and increase resource efficiency through providing specialist help, support and advice. It has operations and projects across the globe, supporting companies and organisations wherever help is needed.
Working within the European Business Team the role will be influential in continuing The Carbon Trust Advisory's growth in the DACH region.
Supported by an effective marketing team and the organisation's good standing you will identify and capture revenue-growth opportunities, and where appropriate adapt services to meet client needs. The position involves high level selling of advisory and assurance services by phone, email and face to face. Experience in a similar professional services environment will be advantageous, as will in-depth industry experience in particular target sectors like agriculture, manufacturing and ICT. The ability to speak German & English is essential.
- Demonstrable track record of sales delivery and growth in an early stage market.
- Demonstrable track record of sales delivery in a highly technical, discretionary spend, business-to-business service.
- Experience selling at key global and national account level.
- Fluent in English and German.
The role will involve travel within the DACH region and would suit someone who enjoys working face to face with larger , complex organisations in a commercial advisory capacity.
