Fire Risk Assessor

Job description

A growing national fire safety consultancy is looking to appoint an experienced Fire Risk Assessor to support continued expansion across the UK. This is a field-based role working with a diverse portfolio of commercial, industrial and leisure sector clients, carrying out high-quality fire risk assessments across multi-site environments.

The successful candidate will have at least three years' experience delivering fire risk assessments and producing detailed technical reports, with a strong understanding of current fire safety legislation, standards and guidance. Experience conducting Type 1 and Type 3 assessments is essential, alongside a recognised Level 3 qualification in Fire Risk Assessment and evidence of ongoing CPD activity.

This role would suit a professional who is confident working independently, comfortable travelling nationwide and capable of identifying practical, commercially aware fire safety solutions for clients. In addition to conducting assessments, you will work closely with an experienced team focused on continuous improvement, technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
In return, the company offers a permanent full-time position, company vehicle, pension, wellbeing support, additional leave and a strong team culture with no weekend working.

If you are an experienced Fire Risk Assessor looking to join a growing and well-established business with a strong reputation in the market, we would be keen to hear from you.

About us: Allen & York have been matching purposeful people with purpose-led organisations for 30 years. Let's help build a better world, together.
