Allen & York are excited to be working with a global organisation who produce a number of products including textiles and fertilisers as they look to recruit a global Head of CSR to join their business and bring together local, on-the-ground initiatives under one global CSR strategy.

This is a dream job for experienced CSR professionals as you'll have carte blanche and autonomy to create and implement a strategy for the business and for a company who are completely bought in to CSR, all in an open culture where you can see the impact. As such, this opportunity would appeal to those with an entrepreneurial nature.

Current initiatives include local schools and outreach programmes for farmers but there are more initiatives to implement and ensure the parameters are consistent. What is important though is your ability to communicate and liaise with communities in different countries, so it's expected you'll have worked in a similar multinational organisation dealing with people in different cultures (languages would be a bonus but aren't essential) so that you can navigate the differences and appreciate sensitivities.

Based in London for ease of reporting, you will be expected to travel to see the operations in Africa and Asia as and when required but you'll be predominantly based in the UK.

An element of communications will be required so previous experience of having worked translated a company vision into effective communications around CSR and sustainability will be beneficial. These proven comms skills will be complemented by your ability to influence and educate.
