Global Sustainability Manager
Having recently set ESG and net zero goals, and timelines, our client has set about the task of establishing a group of specialists to achieve their ambitions. This includes those working on product development, procurement, social and safety aspects in a far-reaching strategy.
Working in collaboration with this group of individuals in this key role, you will hold responsibility for building a road map for the reduction targets, using all available strategies available to the business and help bring them to fruition across the operations.
You will also oversee improvements to data collection processes and the resulting annual environmental reporting framework.
With a strategic oversight of global operations across MENA, Americas and Asia you'll oversee these important aspects of what is an ambitious and committed transformational programme to a FTSE listed business employing thousands. You will have the ability to change habits and mindsets throughout including at a senior level. You will also work with communications to showcase the businesses achievements on the journey to Net Zero.
Our client is a manufacturer and distributor of specialist equipment to a range of client markets including renewables, agriculture, utilities and chemicals. Whilst experience in a similar environment is preferred, applications are welcome from those with the technical background in sustainability in a corporate setting to include the strategic ideation and applied experience implementing strategies to reduce scope 1 & 2 carbon, waste, water, and emissions. Familiarisation with ESG concepts generally and the current reporting framework including CDP.

Headquartered in the UK, the role can be based in either main office in Bristol or Manchester with hybrid working optional to include 3 office days per week.
