Allen & York are proud to be working with Hall & Woodhouse in their search for a Group Health & Safety Manager. Hall & Woodhouse are a high-profile regional brewer based in the Dorset town of Blandford Forum with a strong heritage and will be celebrating their 250-year anniversary in 2027.
Still being family owned, Hall & Woodhouse operate c200 public houses throughout the south of England in an estate comprising both Managed House and Business Partnerships pubs. Additionally, they brew and distribute award winning Badger Ales from their modern brewery facility.

The Group Health & Safety Manager will play a pivotal role in fostering a Health & Safety culture throughout the business, one that engenders ownership with all stakeholders. It is important to Hall & Woodhouse that their Health & Safety standards are reflective of the high standards they have and work to as a business, and their standing in the marketplace.
Candidates will need to have a strong background and a proven track record as Head of Safety, managing teams and have one of success working within a disparate multi-sited organisation. It is crucial that candidates can clearly demonstrate the ability to communicate and affect cultural change within an organisation. Success in environments with transitional seasonal team levels is advantageous as is knowledge of food hygiene and experience in developing company wide training programmes.
