Reporting into the COO and working as part of a rapidly growing team, you will manage, maintain, and develop the organisations Health and Safety management systems and processes while developing a positive and engaging culture.
As the Head of Health and Safety you will work to develop a Health and Safety Improvement Strategy and Tactical Plan, collaborate with the Training Manager ensure a structured programme of health & safety training and provide regular updates to the Board of Directors on the health and safety activities.
It is essential that you have previously worked in a pharmaceutical or laboratory environment and have demonstrable experience of working at a senior level in an organisation to establish and develop a Health and Safety function and culture. You will ideally be NEBOSH Diploma qualified and have experience of management systems ISO 9001 and 45001.
Although the position is an initial 12 month contract position there is the potential opportunity for this to progress to a permanent position in the future.
