Allen & York have been engaged a charity who are seeking to appoint a senior Health and Safety Manager to work with them from their beautiful offices in Wiltshire. This is a new role created to develop and implement a positive safety culture to an organisation who make a massive difference to the people they work with.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is looking to really make a difference to an organisation who are a prominent workforce in the South of the UK.
Your Responsibilities:
- Creating and implementing a 3 year Health and Safety development plan
- Technical lead for Health and Safety
- Management of the Health and Safety budget
- Conducting risk assessments on the charities property
- Working with complex buildings, asbestos, legionella etc
- Line management of specified members
- Overseeing maintenance to the company property
- Liaison with suppliers and contractors
Your Skills
- NEBOSH diploma or equivalent
- GradIOSH or working towards
- Experience of safety management systems
- Use of RIDDOR for accident reporting
- Management skills
- Experience of conducting risk assessments
- New role for a multi-site charity
