Head of Planning - Director Level - Norwich / London £60,000 - £80,000

Do you want to Lead and develop the Planning team for a medium-sized multidisciplinary consultancy with over 80 years of history?

Do you want to set policies and drive the business forward?

Are you passionate about building a team with sound reputation for the delivery of excellent strategic advice resulting in good quality planning consents?

As head of Planning you will draw on your wealth of experience in the planning sector both public and private. As well as take advantage of your previous experience leading a team to demonstrate your capability and enthusiasm, helping develop the planning strategy for the business across several different sites.

One of your key duties will be to build a team as workload permits, to expand the capabilities of the Practice in your field. Strive to meet and exceed fee targets and to become self- sufficient with regards to new instructions in the medium term and work within the practice quality management processes i.e. IMS and ISO accreditation

You will hold MRTPI status (Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute), have a proven track record of successful project delivery to a range of client types along with sound understanding of commercial management of projects and a target based practice. With Proven success in growing teams through targeted campaigns an expertise in nurturing key client relationships to mutual benefit.

Your appetite to progress and succeed could lead to an opportunity to progress to equity partner status as the equity partnership currently has no representative for the planning discipline, but this is an aspiration of the business in order that the partnership is reflective of the core services.
