Our client is a global engineering and design organisation supplying both the private and public sector at the cutting edge of design and technology, employing some of the most forward thinking individuals to remain the best at what they do.
This new opportunity, based in the Hebrides, will be responsible for overall HSE management of the site providing technical HSE advice and support ensuring standards are met and exceeded in line with the overall strategic objectives of the company.
Vital to success in this role will be the effective communication and relationships with key stakeholders in the business to deliver a positive and effective safety culture which is embedded throughout the business.
The role will require the ability to take a holistic view of the business to identify areas for improvement and work with individuals to understand, educate and implement effective procedures for positive change where required.
A track record of success, working with management systems such as ISO 45001 and 14001 will be advantageous, as would an internal or lead auditor qualification. A strong track record of working in safety across various sectors will work well with this role but engineering and facilities would suit this opportunity well.
Candidates will be required to commit to relocating to the Hebrides and support is offered to do this with a comprehensive salary and package on offer.
