We are excited to be working with a leading building services organisation who are seeking to appoint an experienced Health and Safety Manager to the team. The role will be to lead and develop the current safety team in order to match the companies growth plans across numerous regions.

You will be engaging with senior management to ensure a positive safety culture throughout the organisation as well taking the lead on policy, procedure and management systems.

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Ensuring that there are robust systems in place to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
  • Identify gaps for continuous improvement
  • Provide regular reports for the board
  • Developing in house training to ensure all employees meet company and client expectations
  • Advise the board on current H&S legislation
  • Develop action plans to accomodate new regulations
  • Site audits, inspections and gap analysis
  • Investigate accidents using RIDDOR
  • Liaise with Health & Safety Executive in relation to accidents
Other duties
  • Provide direct management and leadership of HSE team
  • Chair the monthly HSE meeting
  • Target new management systems
  • Facilitating the audits
  • Work with all stakeholders to ensure accreditation's are maintained
Your Skills
  • NEBOSH qualifcation and member of IOSH
  • H&S manager experience - Leading a small team
  • Working knowledge of building services or FM industry
  • Good knowledge of safety legislation
