Allen & York are proud to be working with a pioneering leader in the global movement to a low carbon economy and to support this, we are looking for Heat Network Specialists.
You will be helping them achieve their mission by working predominantly in the UK on a regional and national scale but there is the opportunity for international work as well so overseas experience would be advantageous.
Key to this role however, is your technical knowledge of district heating or cooling schemes. Our client has developed a strong reputation in the development of heat networks and your experience of working with companies at the early stages will be essential, but they're finding that there is an increasing demand for reinforcing the business case for decarbonisation and the management of projects so experience of this would be preferential. You'll have ideally engaged with local authorities, private developers and/or public sector projects including universities and hospitals, liaising with relevant stakeholders, providing technical support and offering commercial advice.
As such, in addition to a strong technical knowledge, you'll have excellent communication skills, an ability to translate complex technical information into easy to understand terminology, producing and leading workshops, experience of managing projects and directing Teams and contributing to tender submissions.
You will be joining an established business who are committed to your success so support will be provided if you possess most, but not all of, the skills and experience required, whether your background is in engineering, financial modelling, policy planning or local government.
So, if you are an innovative thinker, passionate about helping solve the energy system challenge and creating a more sustainable low carbon future, then we want to hear from you!
