Based near to Aylesbury my client has an immediate requirement to recruit a experienced HR generalist for a 12 month Fixed Term contract. You will be joining a team of 3 reporting to the HR Manager. Services are provided to Line Managers operating from over 20 sites throughout the UK.
Duties and responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Senior Recruitment Advisor in various recruitment projects
Providing support in updating employment manuals, policies and procedures
Conducting exit interviews for all employees who have tendered their resignation and providing feedback where necessary.
Providing advice and assistance on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation to support tender applications.
Assist with company training and development programmes.
Preparation of monthly HR statistical reports relating to headcount, turnover, absenteeism, etc.
Check the payroll data entry on a monthly basis and liaise with the payroll bureau.
Co-ordinate the probationary review process.
Responsibility for dealing with various employee relation queries and escalating issues to other team members as appropriate.
Candidates will need to have demonstrable experience of:
Employment law knowledge.
Knowledge and experience of interpreting, advising and implementing relevant HR policies and procedures.
Knowledge and experience of best practice in recruitment and selection.
IT literacy / capability.
Ability to produce clear and concise written correspondence.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels.
Willing to learn, challenge and share experience.
