Allen & York are pleased to have been engaged by a local organisation who are seeking to appoint an experienced HSE manager in Dorset. The role is a mixture of business strategy and operations and will involve direct line management.
This role will be reporting into the GM and will involve managing a small team. The role will involve developing and implementing strategies across the business but also day to day support on the shop floor.

Your Role

Working closely with all departments to engage them with H&S

Ensuring site is compliant with all relevant HSE legislation

Liaison with external parties on Health, Safety and Environmental matters.

Liaising with external agencies such as the HSE or Environmental agency

Maintaining and developing all the exisitng Environmental standards

Development and implementation of HSE policy and strategy

Support and develop a positive EHS culture on site

Engaging and training members of staff on the importance of H&S
Your Skills

NEBOSH Diploma qualified or working towards
-
An Environmental Qualification would be desirable.
