Maritime Key Account Manager
£60,000 - £80,000, London (full time, hybrid working)
Are you an experienced key account manager, with a strong customer centric focus and an established network within maritime, looking for a great new role?
We are looking for a Key Account Manager to join a relationship focused business development team in London, to own and coordinate the customer relationships for significant key, as well as drive new business in the London area. If this sounds like you, read on!
In this role you will:
Build and strengthen relations with key decision makers and influencers within the assigned Key Accounts.
Create customer centric Key Account Plans with impactful goals, strategy and actions that ultimately lead to identifying and securing new business, retaining existing business and ensuring high customer satisfaction
Identify and develop sales opportunities to capture new business and keep track of customer's existing contract portfolio to ensure renewal of agreements within due date.
Pro-actively stay up to date with industry and market trends and best practices to remain relevant towards customers and prospects.
Hunt for and drive new business Opportunities beyond assigned key accounts.
Support marketing activities and events within the Area.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Education to degree standard; degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or Maritime Studies preferred.
Very strong experience and a wide proven network within maritime industry.
Commercial awareness and a customer centric mindset.
Ability to travel both domestically and internationally (around 20 % in total).
Fluent business English.
Experience in setting strategic direction Excellent communication and influencing skills obtained in a sales/customer relationship management environment
Strong networking experience within an international context
Experience in gaining significant customer insight and influencing others to act on those
