Landscape Design Architect

Location: Suffolk

My client is an ambitious company with clear plans for growth and expansion. They are now looking for a chartered design Architect (or soon-to-be chartered) landscape architects that are passionate about the profession and are keen to progress within the company, into management and leadership roles.

You will provide support to the Head of Design & Implementation and the team in the design, delivery and management of projects. You will also be developing client relationships and collaborating with co-consultants.

My client is a multi-disciplinary practice comprising three busy departments -ecology, arboriculture and both the planning and design aspects of Landscape Architecture.

Typical projects include:

  • Residential
  • Leisure,
  • Education
  • Regeneration schemes (both urban and rural)
  • Green infrastructure
  • Renewable energy schemes

My client is currently working on:

  • Contemporary central London urban design projects
  • Aspirational large-scale town extensions
  • Designs for schools, colleges, hospitals and other private and public sector developments

Key Requirements:

  • Good hard and soft landscape design skills
  • Confidently manage a project to meet client expectations
  • A 'can-do' attitude, professional demeanour and a proactive approach to work
  • Have a high standard of drawing, written and verbal communication skills
  • Landscape planning and assessment experience would also be advantageous
  • Landscape Design: 3 years
  • Landscape Architecture: 3 years

Candidates for both positions must be proficient on AutoCAD and Adobe Suite software - InDesign and Photoshop. Sketch-up and Revit knowledge would be desirable.
