Do you want to work for a consultancy with over 75 years' experience?

Are you a Landscape Consultant who is looking for a new role in Oxfordshire?

As a Landscape Consultant this is your chance to work for a business that has an amazing track record of providing environmental consultancy and research expertise to a range of clients both in the private and public sector.

You will join the clients Landscape team at Milton Park, this team is well established and provides high quality advice for all types of developments from the initial feasibility stage through to construction. As a result of our success in this area, there is an opportunity for a talented Landscape Consultant to join a growing team of professionals who work closely with colleagues in other disciplines, such as Planning, Ecology, Arboriculture and Archaeology and the wider group.

Due to the current COVID-19 situation it is expected the role would be home-based until mid-2021 when it is expected to be located with the rest of the landscape team in Milton Park, Oxfordshire. Although other locations such as Bristol, Cambridge and Leeds, would be considered the right candidate. Both full and part time candidates would be considered.

This role would primarily be landscape focused, the right candidate will be highly skilled multitalented landscape architect with a specialism in other environmental disciplines. Although a multi-disciplined landscape architect is desirable, a very strong solely landscape architect candidate would be considered.

As Landscape Consultant you will primarily work on landscape based projects in a friendly, fast moving, client focussed commercial environment where much of the work relates to landscape and visual assessment with a strong focus on Strategic Green Infrastructure studies along with some design work.

Ideally you will be a Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI) or be on the Pathway to Chartership with experience in both fieldwork and desk work in undertaking Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments and/or Landscape and Visual Appraisals.

You will draw on this experience to carry out landscape and visual impact assessments and opportunities and constraints work, particularly relating to housing and energy developments under the guidance of the senior members of the team. Along with assisting in the delivery of landscape and other requested input into Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and planning applications.

As Landscape Consultant you will have a high technical competence in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite particularly Photoshop, InDesign and GIS and KeySCAPE, as well as having proficient photography skills including a good understanding of manual photography.

A valid CSCS card (e.g. professionally qualified person) is desirable, but not essential.

Due to the nature of site locations a full driving licence will be required as will the need for flexible working with regard to type of work, timing and location.

In return you will be offered great career opportunities and comprehensive support for your professional development and a competitive salary commensurate with your experience, Contributory Pension Scheme along with a flexible benefits programme including the option to buy additional holidays and private healthcare.
