Using your 2-5 years Post-Qualified Experience (PQE) in law and qualified in Scotland and/or England & Wales. You will provide legal advice and support on a large portfolio of renewable energy projects, including onshore wind, battery storage and solar across the UK&I.
The role will mainly assist and support the development teams and property managers but also a wider group of commercial and technical teams and liaise other members of the legal team.
Primarily focused on property and planning work within renewable energy across the UK. You will complete transactional work on major projects and internal reviews of documentation being dealt with by external solicitors.
You will also be expected to provide general ad hoc legal and commercial advice, while dealing with property and planning issues specific to the renewable energy industry.
Experienced in instructing and managing external legal counsel in specialist areas and major transactions/projects and work in close cooperation and liaison with internal personnel and teams.
The successful candidate will have excellent academics, trained at a respected firm or company and have post qualification experience in property and ideally also in planning.
Dual-qualified in both Scotland and in England & Wales would be beneficial as work is cross-border, otherwise a willingness to become dual-qualified would be highly desirable. General experience in other areas of law would be beneficial although not essential.
