We are delighted to offer a 1 year fixed term contract to cover maternity within one of our much loved clients.
Working within a professional and collaborative team you will be providing accounting and daily activity support to all of the different and diverse departments and teams at all levels.
You will be part or fully CIMA/ACCA qualified or equivalent and have some supervisory experience over a small team.
Main duties include;
Preparation of timely monthly management accounts to balance sheet
Analysis of cost of sales
Some budgeting and forecasting
Some involvement in banking and bank transactions
Day to day Accruals & prepayments
Month end closures
Supervision and daily support of 2-3 members of staff.
There is a fair use of Excel including answering queries and advising non accounting staff. It will be important that you have a good understanding of Excel to Vlookup and Pivot table level.
Proficient knowledge of Sage 50 cloud base system will also be essential as you will also be a first point of contact for any queries or issues.
Supporting the Directors there will also be an opportunity to take on other non accounting related tasks so be prepared to roll your sleeves up.
Experience of running and processing a small payroll will be an advantage as this could be part of the role, although the payroll is outsourced it will still need preparing and checking.
