Our client is a multi-disciplined world leader in their field and operate at the forefront of the industries they work in, including engineering and technology. The company operate globally and are looking for a highly experienced Quality Manager to join their site based in the South West to lead the quality engineering department including a small team.
The role will be to work with the management team to develop and deliver a quality strategy for the site ensuring world class standards are met and maintained. Included in this role will be to plan and implement a quality audit program as well as upholding industry standards including ISO9001.
The role will include a proportion of customer facing work and so candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in working with internal and external stakeholders including project design and engineering.
Candidates will be required to have experience working and managing a quality function in a manufacturing environment, preferably high and low volume with a proven track record of success delivering a high class service.
For this position candidates will need strong people management skills and be qualified ideally with a recognised engineering qualification and be a MIQA or CQI. A lead auditor qualification would be beneficial.
