- Liability Management: Conducting practical closure liability assessments aligned with international best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Regulatory Liaison: Coordinating directly with the National Mine Closure Committee (NMCC) and the NEMC to secure approvals and manage environmental protection bonds.
- Technical Execution: Preparing technical inputs for decommissioning plans, reviewing closure cost estimates, and monitoring rehabilitation activities throughout the mine life cycle.
- Client Advisory: Acting as a trusted technical guide, providing expert advice on closure planning and implementation while building lasting client relationships.
What you bring to the table
We are looking for a solution-oriented professional who excels in dynamic project environments and possesses strong analytical capabilities.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in a similar consulting role, specifically managing or supporting mine closure-related projects.
- Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, Natural Resource Management, or a related field.

Why Join This Team?
- Professional Growth: Gain exposure to international best practices and industry-leading projects within a respected African consultancy.
